Organizational WIP #1

It's been quite some time since my last post. One of the main reasons, besides uncontrollable life roller coaster events, is lack of organization on my part. I have the inspiration, the materials, the ideas, and the skills; yet lack the organization. 

I am making the conscious choice to organize one step at a time and in turn increase my productivity. This is definitely a step in the right direction for me and today is day one. 

Above you see my embroidery / craft floss collection. I have been storing it in a large freezer bag. Although this helps to keep everything together, it not very functional for when i need to use it. I have an old, durable box in the house that wasn't serving much of a purpose so i am repurposing it to store my floss. This will be very useful in keeping the floss tangle free and easy to access. 

So far, the winding process is slow yet relaxing. I am focused on the benefits, and it is making me happy.

"Buzz" -iness

I have been unbelievable busy these last couple of weeks and have not had any time to craft :(

I started at a new job Monday last week and it has been wearing me out in a good way. On top of that, next week I will be starting my daughter at a new school. I will get back to blogging and crafting  (I must as my sanity depends on it, lol). I will hopefully be able to do a little something this weekend and will post if I do. 


In other news it has been raining nonstop these last two days. I hope it will finally let up some tomorrow. I do doubt it thou as another huge storm is set to come in soon.

Life...

I've been away for a while but been very busy and unfortunately not so much busy crafting :(

On Friday 10/21 after a FANTASTIC first Parent/Teacher Conference at my daughters school we decided to take the Ferry and spend the day in Larkspur/ Marin. Beautiful weather and beautiful scenery.

About 2weeks ago, I lost my wallet :( I'm not even sure exactly where it was lost, but after calling all the different places I was at multiple times, I considered it a loss and bought a cute new one :)

Only sad part now is all the cards I need to replace. I'm about half done with that part now.

While browsing in the beauty section of Target I stumbled across a great deal on something I have never owned...

My very first Eyeshadow Palette! Created by E.L.F., sold at $10, with 100 different, beautiful colors! I have been having a little too much fun with this I must admit :)

With Halloween coming up we painted some miniature pumpkins that my dad bought for Riya. She loved it and got pretty messy but its a nice decoration to the porch.
